Ashley Mehr

Ashley Mehr Head of Residential Lettings

Ash has worked in property since 2008 and is responsible for managing the lettings department at Churchills. He enjoys commentating on the York property market through his blog site, and loves helping landlords maximise their rental investments. Outside of work, he enjoys jogging and spending time with his wife and two children.

Abbi Foster

Abbi Foster Senior Sales Negotiator & Valuer

Abbi has worked in property since 2006 and has been at Churchills throughout that time. She thoroughly enjoys every aspect of her role but particularly likes meeting people. Out of work Abbi enjoys going on adventure days with her husband and little boy, as well as catching up with friends and taking city breaks.

Paula Matthews

Paula Matthews Senior Sales Negotiator & Valuer

Paula has worked for Churchills as a Senior Negotiator/Valuer at Churchills. Since 2016. In 2002 married with 2 sons she decided it was time for a career change. After moving home 5 times in 8 years she understood and had experienced what it felt like to be a seller and a buyer. With a keen interest in interior design and a passion for property, Estate Agency seemed the right choice.

Jack Painter

Jack Painter Senior Sales Negotiator & Valuer

Jack has worked at Churchills since 2011️ having previously graduated from York St. John University. It’s well known he has a soft spot for period properties. His spare time is taken up by sport, DIY & coffee shops.

Liz Benson

Liz Benson Lettings Office Manager

Liz started working for Churchills as a Senior Negotiator in a team of just 2 back in 2012. She has seen a dramatic change of the lettings department during this time and enjoys developing the team and department to make it the best it can be. At home Liz has 2 young children and enjoys spending time with them and having weekends away and new adventures.

Kerri Bailey

Kerri Bailey Senior Sales Negotiator

Kerri has worked for Churchills since 2013 and is the Senior Sales Negotiator at the Bishopthorpe road Office. She thoroughly enjoys her job role and loves nothing more than helping people and providing a great customer service. Outside of work she loves spending time with friends & family and is a keen netballer.

Stuart Smith

Stuart Smith Lettings Consultant

Stuart started as a Lettings Consultant in October 2020 after 15 years in the events industry. Outside of work Stuart enjoys being outdoors, spending time cycling, running as well as walking in his favourite place, the Lake District.

Amy Leslie

Amy Leslie Sales Negotiator

Amy has worked at the Bishopthorpe Road office since 2017 as a Sales Negotiator. Her favourite part of the job is helping people move into their dream home. Amy lives with her little cat Nancy and enjoys nothing more than attending live music events and socialising with friends and family.

Jane Lea

Jane Lea Administrator & Sales Progressor

Jane has worked for Churchills for two years and I love the family feel of the business. She is responsible for administration and the sales progression at Acomb. She loves finding people their forever homes and handing over the keys to excited buyers on completion day. At home she loves spending quality time with her hubby and two teenage daughters, going on holiday, eating out and enjoying a Gin or two with friends in our beautiful city of York.

Hannah Godwin (Maternity Leave)

Hannah has worked in the property industry since 2008. She is the Sales Administrator for the Bishopthorpe Road and Gillygate offices and loves taking pride in her work, she especially enjoys making people’s homes look the best they possibly can. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys walking in the countryside and visiting her family back home in Brighton.

Louella Gill

Louella has worked as an estate agent for three years and her favourite part of the job is securing the sales and helping people buy their perfect home. In her free time, she loves going out for cocktails with friends as well as spending quality time with her family.

Rebecca Wood

Rebecca Wood Lettings Consultant

Rebecca started as a apprentice lettings consultant in September 2020 after 2 years as a jewellery assistant. In her spare time she loves to eat out and drink cocktails with her friends and family.
